Embankment failure following heavy rains and flooding had forced the closure of the northbound lane on SR 26 along Duck Creek in Washington County, Ohio. Funded by the Federal emergency Management Administration, this project consisted of a stabilization solution of 585 feet of concrete lagging wall with piling spaced six foot on center. In addition to the retaining structure, the plans for this repair included reconstruction of the roadway and the associated storm drainage features.
