In addition to engaging exhibits and activities at the annual STEMfest is the problem solving challenge of Bridge Design. The objective of the toothpick bridge challenge is to design the most efficient, economical, functional and aesthetic bridge using only toothpicks and glue. Teams are judged by a panel of industry experts including ADR partner, Doug Mill (not pictured).
STEMfest! is an annual STEM event that engages middle school and high school youth in design-based problem solving challenges from with a variety of disciplines that relate to what scientists and engineers encounter every day in their careers.
