Lancaster Safe Routes to School Project Award

ADR has been selected by the City of Lancaster on the second phase of the City’s Safe Route to School (SRTS) program.  This project will be concentrated around the Lancaster City School District’s Medill Elementary School in the vicinity of Sheridan Drive, Grandstaff Avenue, and James Road.  The project primarily involves the design and construction of new and updated sidewalks and paved connections to existing trails, curb and curb ramps, signage, and crosswalk striping.  The SRTS program is a federally funded program that is administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).  Currently the funds are 100%  grant, “free money”, which means no local match money will be spent for this project.  ADR is excited to be teamed up with the City, Scholl and ODOT District 5 to help make this project a success for their community.
